Spectrum Microwave Model 332035 is a special 300 Series Oscillator designed for low phase noise with voltage tuning. The voltage tuning makes it possible to phase-lock to a very stable reference such as a Rubidium Standard. The Rubidium Standard has excellent long term stability and good "close in" phase noise but the phase noise at farther out offsets may be worse than that of the 70 MHz VCXO. By selecting the proper loop bandwidth the phase noise in this region could be improved by the 70 MHz VCXO. The close-in phase noise of the Rubidium Standard and the farther out phase noise of the VCXO are used to advantage to obtain the best possible phase noise for a particular application.

VCXOs from 10 MHz to 200 MHz are available as fundamental oscillators. Tuning range, stability etc. can be tailored to meet your particular requirements.
